Random Thoughts, Twitter-Style
Wednesday March 25th, 2009
Let’s have some fun. I started jotting down things that I think about lately. Not the serious thoughts but the strange kind that we all have, at least I hope we all do. It’s like Twitter in my own mind. I know, it’s not something you desire but maybe you share some of these thoughts. Feel free to share yours by emailing acetj@acetj.com, I’d love to hear them. Here we go…
Yesterday I was behind a lady with a stick drawing of her and her husband along with two dogs on the back of her car. (Usually when you see that it’s an actual family outlined on the car) That’s cool but she had a sticker that said, “My shitzu is smarter than your honor student”. So her dog is better than a child. I disliked her immediately.
I like the way people (usually it’s women) can wear a scarf wrapped around their neck with the ends hanging down in the front. I look like a dork when I do that but everyone else looks cool. Not sure why. Maybe it’s because I’m male and tall and most scarves are way too short for me anyway.
If KISS was to have a farewell show in New York, would I go? I think I would.
I was watching an NFL draft special and they were showing LSU Tiger players eligible for the draft. I hadn’t kept up with them like I meant to and felt as if I’d let them down. That’s not normal.
Same as above, when a band I have really liked in life comes out with a new cd I feel obligated to buy it to continue supporting them. I owe them nothing but I feel a strange loyalty to them.
I wish I didn’t have to desire to hit something every day. I don’t do it but I think about it. That’s probably a sign of some type of instability.
I often change the TV channel before I turn it off to make sure that if someone were in my house and turned on the TV it would come on to a channel more intelligent than what I was watching. Usually it’s when I’ve been watching Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares, Real Housewives of Orange County, VH-1 Classic or something like that. It’s never happened.
I love riding down the road and seeing people singing along to the radio. You know they are having a good time.
When I see someone singing or tapping on the steering wheel I punch around the radio to try and see what station they are listening to. I’m pretty good at it. Actually, I just think I’m pretty good at it because I have no way to get the actual answer.
Like I said earlier, none of this means anything to anyone. I’d still love to hear your random thoughts.
God bless and thanks for listening (and reading)
