Mandon's Statement On His Apology

First, a brief explanation of how this whole series of events came about.
Breezekat & Mandon when to have a few drinks, Breezekat secretly recorded the conversation with Mandon. It was revealed on the air that the secret audio existed and Mandon freaked out and didn't want it to air...because he said some very mean things about someone else on the show.
Ace & TJ had to the idea of a 50-meter swim meet. If Breezekat or White Shadow lost, they'd have to be out in public in their Speedo. If Mandon lost, the secret audio would be played on the radio.
Breezekat lost the swim meet, not Mandon. So that could have been the end of it. The next morning, Mandon was moping around, depressed, and obviously in anguish. Ace & TJ asked him what was wrong, he explained that even though it didn't air, he feels guilty about what was said. They gave him the opportunity, only if he wanted to, to identify the person about whom the bad things were said and apologize to them.
He agreed and identified the target of his rude comments as Intern Erica. He admitted that he was very disrespectful, didn't know her that well, made judgments that he shouldn't have, and deeply regretted saying the things he said. It visibly upset Intern Erica.
The actual secret recording was NEVER played, the exact comments were never repeated, just the description of the comments and disrespectful and rude. The offer of the on-air "coming clean" and the reaction and interaction between Intern Erica and Mandon has been pulled from the downloadable podcast and will not be made available.
Now, on to Mandon's statement that he wanted to share with the Radio Family.....
I just want to start off by thanking you for taking the time to contact the show and for being a part of the Radio Family.
As I read through the tons of emails that were sent in regards to my apology I soon came to the realization that people are mad at Breezekat for what he did. I want to say that he is not to blame by any imagination of the word. He recorded the conversation in hopes that I would say something stupid (which I did but not in the way he was looking for). Since you listen to the show you know that TJ has Breeze mark things during the show when someone from the show says something stupid. That’s what he was hoping for.
I said what I said, I shouldn’t have said it regardless of the recorder or not. So please don’t blame Breeze, blame me.
Secondly I’d like to address those who think that Ace & TJ made me apologize. I want you to know the only reason they brought it up this morning and gave me the option was because of my depressed, shameful and despondent mood. I personally felt that it was the right thing to do, there was no pressure, no nudge, no "wink", no off-air discussions, nothing. It was completely up to me and I felt that I did the correct thing.
In closing I do not expect that it will be easy for Erica, or the listeners who are upset with me, to forgive me. I hope and pray that one day those who are mad will forgive me. I am a man of Faith and although my actions do not always show that, I have asked for forgiveness from the most important person who matters to me, my Lord and Savior; and from Erica.
I know that there were a lot of you who couldn’t hear the entire apology, but out of respect for Erica it will not be posted on the website. If you have any further questions emails are always welcome.
