Ace & TJ's Misfit's Road To The Idol Finale -- Day Two

Yesterday we launched Ace & TJ's Misfit's Road To The Idol.  They left the Mothership Market of Charlotte, NC and are headed to Los Angeles, California to try and get into the Kodak Theater to see the finale of American Idol.

Today is day two of their journey and this is what's happening.

Limo Confessions, Road to the Idol Finale, Day 2:

On their way to the Idol Finale in Los Angeles, the Misftis made their first stop in Elkin, North Carolina where they picked up trash, pumped gas (who would stop a shy Bret Michaels from pumping your gas, no one!). They made enough in tips doing that to buy Windex, paper towels, and squeegee. Once they started washing windshields they were able to make money a lot faster!

By lunchtime yesterday they made it to Marion, Virginia and our affiliate at Z 103.5. They worked for their lunch at a Dip Dogs which is like a corn dog, but don’t you dare call it one.

The stories from Madame Sindy Lu are endless and its said that you couldn’t write better than she’s lived it! She’s slept with a Brady, gotten the number of her marriages wrong, and served time for writing bad checks – ten years later!

By nightfall, Bret Scott’s looks and singing ability helped the group get noticed in the Music City, Nashville. The lady Misfits acted like groupies while the limo drivers seemed like bodyguards. Why would anyone give money to a limo riding rock star though? So that plan didn’t really work, they’ll have to make money with him a different way.
Princess Charlie feels guilty for giving out a fake number at the bar, but hey, it was worth the drink he got her!
Sepa Ray Ray helped the group by wearing a low cut shirt, trying to use “The Girls” to her advantage.

The Misfits called it a night at a Motel in Dixon, Tennessee. The girls had a room (but no one could sleep through Madame Sindy Lu’s snoring), Yankee Pete and Bret Scott shared a room, and the limo drivers had their own space as well.

So now, it’s a new day, they’ve got some gas and some cash from yesterday’s work (the hardest work Princess Charlie says she’s ever done) and they’re headed West, hoping to make it to El Paso by the time we talk to them next, Monday morning on the Ace & TJ Show.
