THE LATEST ON THE MCSTEAMY "PIANO PLAYING" VIDEO:

Some new info has emerged concerning the nude video featuring "Grey's Anatomy" stud ERIC "MCSTEAMY" DANE, his wife, REBECCA GAYHEART and former beauty queen KARI ANN PENICHE.
Not much, frankly, but here's what we've got . . .
First off, a website DID post the uncensored video, featuring a plain view of Dr. McSteamy's… ya know.
A huge question about this video remains: Did these three naked people want a tape of them playing piano out there?
The "official" answer, so far, is NO. Kari Ann was approached by the paparazzi Monday night and asked if there was any piano playing involved. And she said she was, "just having fun with my friends."
(--After those "friends" gave you their credit card number, right???)
Kari Ann also spoke with TMZ yesterday, where she gave up even more information.
She said the tape was shot more than two years ago, and there was no piano playing whatsoever. The three of them just played DRESS-UP, and then she and Rebecca took their bath together.
She also claimed that country singer MINDY MCCREADY is the one who leaked the video.
Kari Ann and Mindy were roommates on "Celebrity Rehab". And we've already heard claims that Kari Ann stole from Mindy.
But Kari Ann claims that Mindy stole a hard drive from HER . . . during some kind of vague dispute over money. And this video was on that hard drive.
Kari told TMZ that she, Eric, Rebecca and Mindy all met last month to figure out who should get what, as far as what was on that hard drive.
Everyone agreed that Eric had full rights to the video, and that was that . . . until the video went VIRAL on Monday.
Also yesterday, Kari Ann's manager issued the following statement . . . "Kari Anne is extremely upset over this situation.
"She considers Eric and Rebecca dear friends, and this is an unfortunate incident where consenting adults who were having a little fun are now victims of having personal property stolen and private matters made public."
There's no word if anyone plans on suing Mindy.
(--One last, quick note: Despite all this chaos, Eric Dane was in a GREAT MOOD on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" yesterday. A so-called "source" said, "He's been chatting on the phone non-stop, all smiles.")
