MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE CONCERT POSTPONED

MTV Radio Network Bulletin: The Michael Jackson tribute concert that was set to be held in Vienna this month has been postponed until the one year anniversary of the singer’s death in June, 2010.  According to Reuters, the event’s promoter made the announcement today, citing they “underestimated” the scheduling issues many of the performers had.   It was also revealed that when the show does take place next year, it will be at London’s Wembley Stadium.  The concert, which is being organized by Michael’s brother Jermaine, had boasted a line-up that included Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige and Natalie Cole, all of whom said they were not going to be able to be a part of it.  Tickets for the Vienna production will be refunded while those for the London show will cost 73-dollars.  The new line-up will be announced in December.
