OFFICIALS IN ILLINOIS ARE SELLING ROADSIDE MEMORIALS TO MARK THE SITE OF DEADLY CAR CRASHES . . . FOR JUST $100

Let's face it . . . making money off of another person's DEATH is nothing new.  Just look at the funeral industry.  Even so, THIS is pretty distasteful . . .

Recently, officials in a suburb of Chicago called Romeoville, Illinois, announced they're going to start selling "official" ROADSIDE MEMORIALS so that family members can mark the site of their relative's DEADLY CAR CRASH.

According to town officials, the memorials will consist of a "decorative" pole and a marker giving the victim's name and the date of their accident. 

And all it will cost you to mark the location of your loved one's untimely demise is a mere $100.

Romeoville officials say they won't take down anyone's homemade memorial, but they will be notifying family members of victims to let them know about the new program.  (Chicago Tribune)
