Log in with your username and password
Click “Find People”
Type in “TheAceTJShow” or “White Shadow”
Once you have identified us, click “Follow”

Want to create an account so you can follow us?

Go to www.twitter.com
Click on the green box that reads, “Get Started-Join!”
Fill out your first and last name
Choose a unique Username without spaces
Choose a password
Enter your email address
Type the letters you see in the security box
Click “Create My Account.”
You will then be prompted to enter your email account password that you used for your account. This information is not shared, so you’re safe
Click “Finish”

More Information And Terms For Twitter

Once you have a Twitter account, you can post your own updates on the homepage at www.twitter.com.

On the homepage you will also be able to see all of the updates that the people you are following have posted.

On the right hand side, you will see a tab labeled “Direct Messages.” This is where people can message you directly. Only you see these messages, they do not get sent out to everyone. To direct message someone else, click on that person’s profile and then click “Message” on their profile. Type in your message and click “Send.”

Under the “Message” link you will see a “Nudge” link. By clicking this, you are informing that person that you want them to update their status. In turn, if you are nudged, someone wants you to update your status.

The last link underneath “Nudge” is “Block.” This feature allows you to block anybody on your account from seeing your updates.

To add a photo to your profile, just click “Profile” at the top of the page. Once inside, click the box beside your name that reads “Add Photo” and upload from there.

To complete your account, click “Settings” on the top of your page. Here you can add your one line bio and other information if you choose.

To receive updates from people you are following (including us), click “Devices” under the “Settings” link. Follow the directions as prompted. Once your mobile device is activated, you can go back to “Devices” and determine the times that you wish to receive updates via text message on your phone.

When your mobile phone is activated through Twitter, you can update your status with your phone. All you have to do is save the number Twitter gives you (40404) as “Twitter” in your Contacts on your phone. Type your update using 140 characters or less, and text it to “Twitter.” This sends your update to everybody following you, through text message if they have theirs activated, or on the homepage on the Twitter website.

What if you don’t want to get text updates from everybody that you are following? Don’t worry. You are not getting updates from everybody you are following automatically. To follow somebody via text messages, you must click “On” next to “Device Updates” underneath the person’s name/profile. If you change your mind about getting updated text messages, go back and click “Off” at the same place you clicked “On.”
